Everyday Witch

Created by Elisabeth Alba and Deborah Blake

In all the 30+ years that I have been reading tarot I have never had a witch deck. So here it is my first and currently only witch deck.

I got the Everyday Witch tarot because I thought it looked modern and fun with the witches in their stripey leggings and pointy hats. It’s a borderless deck which is always a plus point. The card that clinched it for me was The Chariot where she is on a motorbike with her cat in a sidecar. In my younger days I rode motorbikes and owned several so this really tickled me.

I don’t use these cards to read for other people but i do like them and do use them for personal use.

Deborah Blake is the author and Elisabeth Blake is the artist, the deck was published in January 2017.

There are 78 cards, 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana.

The Everyday Witch deck adheres to the Rider, Waite, Smith (RWS) system and there are no changes to the Major Arcana.

The Suits are Pentacles, Cups, Wands, Swords

The Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, King

I would class this as a beginners deck and very easy to read. I don’t have any objection to witch decks but I am not one so they don’t usually appeal to me. However, I do find this a fun deck to have.
